How to get date from azure sql database

Question

Hi ,

         I have createdat column in Azure db ,in that column created date is saved, actually createdat  is in DateTimeOffset  data type , can you please tell me how to convert the DateTimeOffset  to date format and how to display that time in my app.

Thanks for ur reply, I'm not asking about migration of SQL server to azure SQL database, My question is how to get DATE(Not DATA) from azure SQL db.
