Cluster Exchange 2007 MapiExceptionNetworkError RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi
    ¿How are you?

    I have two Exchange 2007 servers, EX1 and EX2,
EX1 previously served an Exchange 2003.
EX2 is a completely new and updated Exchange 2007.
When I try to move a mailbox from EX2 to EX1 is not possible, the following error:

MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make admin interface connection to server. (hr = 0x80040115, ec = -2147221227)

However when I perform the operation of the EX1 to EX2 working properly.
I checked the network configuration of the servers, like DNS, properly resolve the names of the two servers.

Test-running the command on the server MapiConnectivity EX2 shows me that is correct, but shows nothing on the server EX1.

From what I read about this problem, I'm pretty sure the problem is caused by permissions.
I edited the permissions in ADSI and still not working.

    What permissions should be set?
    What could be the problem?

The Event Viewer shows me an error that can not synchronize public folders.

Our idea is to perform a complete migration of all mailboxes and remove EX1 to EX2 .
But it would like the connectivity between the two was correct.
I tested sending mail between mailboxes hosted on the servers, the results are as follows.
Mailbox: send e-mail EX1 mailboix to EX2 mailbox: correct Delivery
Mailbox: send e-mail EX2 mailbox to EX1 mailbox: Delivery INCORRECT (no emails are received)
Mailbox:send e-mail EX2 mailbox to external mailbox: correct Delivery
Thank you very much for the help!
    a greeting
