    Hello,

    Continuing from this thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsx/thread/a1ae3ae6-65c8-4089-ae14-95af7549d320 I am trying to get one of my projects to compile. I did find and reference Microsoft.VSDesigner to my project but I am getting: The type or namespace name 'VSDesigner' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?) .

    Here is my code:

      using System;
      using System.CodeDom;
      using System.Xml;
      using EnvDTE;
      using Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data;
      using Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Interop;
      using Microsoft.VSDesigner.VSDesignerPackage;

      using DataConnection = Microsoft.VSDesigner.VSDesignerPackage.DataConnection;

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

    Are you using .net Framework client profile as target framework? If so, change it to full version (e.g. .Net Framework 4) and try again.

    Regards,

    Yi
