    Thank you for posting here.

    I suggest you to download the latest version of Visual Studio. You could try to debug with old .net framework. It is important to check the dll. Many libraries would update in seven years.

    If you have some error when you run your application, you could post the code and the error message here.

  • VS 2010 is not a supported product anymore. C# is backwards compatible so you should be able to recompile any older code in VS 2017 without issues (other than a solution/project upgrade). You can even target older framework versions if you need to.
