     Hi

    I downloaded *.iso file from msn site to install VS2008. Installation failed because it didn't find WinSDK_Tools.exe even it was there. After that I unsintalled VS , installed VS2008 SDK and then VS2008. It apparently work until I tried to open a solution in VS2008. I got an error saying failure to load Config Shell package. Any solution to that?

    Hi,

    Did you try opening another solution in Visual Studio? Does the problem happen every time you open a solution?

    If the problem only occurs on this specific solution, does the solution contain any third-party tool that requires the isolated mode Visual Studio Shell to run?
