    Question

  • Hello, when considering upgrading a version of VS, and concerning that some of the working projects may be impacted, does any of you guys have any tips regarding making the transition / co-existing of VS 2013 and VS 2015 work best?

  • Hi SarahSokolov,

According to your description, you want to install VS2013 and VS2015 on the same computer, is it right?

On my computer, I installed VS2012, VS2013 and VS2015 together and all of them working fine. So if you want to use both VS2013 and VS2015, please install VS2015 on your computer without any additional operation.

If misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Weiwei

  • Hi Weiwei,

    Thanks for the info!

Yes, that is correct, I was talking about an instance where you would install the VS 2015 on the same computer that already has VS 2013 installed on it.

    Regards,

    Sarah
