  • Use Microsoft Sql Server 2008 R2 Edition. If Exception is thrown in multithreading means all database will have same exceptions try to check security rights[not sure].Database is mainly used for storing the data only and execute the data.Exception is thrown from .Net [trying to access which is not possible] its not from database. So try to  check problem in code not in database. We use database types[oracle, sql, mysql] which were convenient to endusers as well as developers and mostly depends upon cost .PostGreSQL is an opensource so u can use that without any license.Actually all are Best database once we acquire knowledge in that and all databases have an equal pros and cons depending upon project and convenient of end users can choose .
