    Hi People,

I get the error in the subject when trying to connect to a local access file from a web service.

I found a similar question in this thread:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/asmxandxml/thread/32a3a5cd-3153-4260-b207-ca004ccf589b/

But there is no solution there. I also cannot enable access failure auditing on this server because I lack the permission to do it.

I am able to access the mdb file using a console application.

My IIS security setup is Window Authentication + impersonation so effectively the user which is trying to access the file is the user

that's connecting to the web service. This is also the same user used to run the console application on that server.

    It's Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.

Also this same service works fine in our test/qa environment.

Unfortunately I can not migrate to SQL server since another legacy application depends on that access file.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

    Thanks,

    Michael
