Network sink stops receiving data RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a working transcode topology as follows:

Camera --> MJPG Decoder --> Custom YUY2 MFT --> Intel Preprocessing MFT --> Intel H264 Encoder --> MP4 File Sink

This works great, giving me 30fps for a 720p video.  I am now trying to replace the file sink with a network streaming solution.  I have bolted on the streaming sample from Chapter 9 of Developing Microsoft Media Foundation Applications.  The topology resolves just fine, and bytes start spewing out of the custom byte stream object.  However, after about 48K of data, the writes to the custom IMFByteStream object stop happening.  I can't find any events or errors associated with this, it just stops.

I am unable to use MFTrace to debug this topology, see my other post for details:

Is something I am missing?  Could there be something I am not setting up properly given that I am using a live source instead of a file?
