  • This is just not like installing a windows 7/XP/vista on a PC.  It is not a generic OS. if you want to change the binary, you have to contact the device vendor to get the Windows CE 6.0 BSP or binary for your device.

To install windows CE 6.0 R3

Please see the Required Software list carefully and install it first before installing the CE 6.0 R3.

    Good Luck

  • Without the support of the vendor, you can't proceed further.

  • Hi

As per u told me in your first reply you need BSP or Binary  from  vendor . Actually in my board having 2 no of nands so .i think one of the nand working as a Boot loader and second one is in WinCe 4.0 Pro .net .i have read both nands from IC programmer and save it so both of the files are Bin format. Now is it any possibility to make new WinCE 6.0 image ??or any solution .??

  • you can search the BSP using SH4 processor in the following link.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/community/bsp.aspx

Also i noticed some SH4 based BSP in windows ce 6.0 R2. Check the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 release notes. I think STi7109.

if you have Schematics for your Device and processor datasheet, you can port the BSP to your device.

This is the worst case possible for you to create the binary.
