Azure\other VM's communication and security. RRS feed

  • single cloud provider and 2 clients needs vm's after some time both these clients share and communicate with each other via vm. During the communication how i secure vm's from Malacious virus or secure vm's from other's.

    In Azure, VMs in the same cloud service or virtual network can communicate with each other using a private channel. You can add the two VMs into the same cloud service or virtual network.

    In addition, to keep security, you can configure CAL for the RDP(Windows VMs) or SSH(Linux VMs) endpoint to restrict traffic based upon source IP:

    Besides, Azure offers several options for anti-virus solutions. You can add anti-virus support with a VM extension for Microsoft Antimalware, Symantec Endpoint Protection, or TrendMicro Deep Security Agent when you create a Windows virtual machine, or at a later point:
