Xbox Music is not showing my music anymore. RRS feed

  • Question

  • After the update to 8.1 Developer Preview i ran in to the same problem as in Windows 8.1 Update 1, my purchased music is not showing. I am a non Music-pass subscriber that just buys my Music outright instead. I live in Sweden. And it used to work on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. I didnt care that much when the service stopped showing my music after update to 8.1 and 8.1 update 1, i buy and play my Music from the cloud on my Windows Phone instead. But now in the hunt to unify the platforms i noticed straight away after updateing my Lumia 1020 to 8.1 Developer Preview that my Music is not availible anymore in the app.

I hate that the app automaticly download songs since all we have on the Lumia 1020 is 32GB, so i have been deleting all songs i purchesed and enjoyed them the futuristic way, through streaming. Now after the update there is no Music showing up, its like i never bought anything. I looked at my purchase history and sure, there the songs are. I just tryed buying a song to test out what happend, and it downloaded the song. But if you remove that song, its forever gone.

I have factory resetted the phone and try turning the "show streamed music" on and off to no avail.

Now, my guess would be that somebody forgott to put in the cloud syncronization switch for markets outside of U.S. The button is gone in W8.1.Update 1 and i can't find a specific option for my cloud Collection on my Windows Phone 8.1 Developer preview either. I have no regular 8.0 device to compare with to see if there is a switch for the cloud on Windows Phone 8, but i bet there is one.

    Anywayz, where is my Music!?
