Active Events from Document RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can we access the entire document contents from RHP?
What kind of active events do we get from the document in Apps for Office?

Please list down the active events from the document.

    Thanks,

    Joshua

  • Hi Joshua,

    >> Can we access the entire document contents from RHP?
Yes, Document.getFileAsync returns the entire document file, but I am not sure whether it meets your requirement, you could refer the link below for more information.

    # Document.getFileAsync method (JavaScript API for Office)

    >> What kind of active events do we get from the document in Apps for Office?
In my option, document only supports ActiveViewChanged event and SelectionChanged event, you could refer the Document object.
    # Document object (JavaScript API for Office)
