System unresponsive after a few minutes/hours

Question
-
Hi,
I used Win8 for a long time, then not anymore for a few months, and then started to use it again.
Since I started to use it again(about 3-4 months ago), I notices that sometimes after a few minutes/hours the System doesn't response to any kind of user input anymore, with the Exception of [Windows]+[L] & [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Delete].
What I mean is the mouse doesn't move anymore(, the mouse pointer may even vanish!), and the keyboard doesn’t show any reaction anymore, not even to [Shift lock]/[Num lock] or any other key witch usually shows a response on the keyboard.
Only if I press one of the Two Exceptions mentioned above, the mouse and keyboard start to react again.
I have to admit I didn't think about checking the Event log yet, but will next time it happens.
I also already reported this via the 'Windows feedback toolMonday, February 27, 2012 6:25 AM

Good thing you report it using Feedback tool. If you already submitted those information Windows Product Team will investigate it. It could be due to small issue in communicate with your hardware.Monday, February 27, 2012 10:34 AM

Hi Cyber_Defend_Team,
I did report it, but most likely in the wrong category (I didn't find any in witch it would fit, so I too Windows Explorer), and also not in such Detail (The content is mainly he same, but this one is more detailed), So I reported it here again, in order to make sure.

Hi Alexander Wurzinger,
try restoring it to the time when you were more often using WDP and it was working well, though a few updates and restarts later it should fix itself.
I have noticed that since the install of WDP, I have seldom used Windows7 installed on a different drive on the same PC, but whenever I do after a long time, it is not it's usual self, rather frozen and less responsive. I just get all my updates and shut it down. Windows don't like being ignored.

I have to admit I didn't think about checking the Event log yet, but will next time it happens.
It just happened again, at ~14:26 (it was 14:26 as I looked at the clock after 'fixing' the problem).
I added a Custom View to my Event Views, witch contains all event of the last hour of every source I could select.
In this Custom View, I only found Events 10 minutes before (14:15:30) and the next one was one minute after the fix (14:27:59).~15 minutes later it happened again, as I become two mailes shortly after each other. (I don't have Outlook, or any other Mail application on the Win8 System installed or configurated, but use them via Citrix Metaframe, but this problem also happens without the use of Citrix).
I opened the first Mail and closed it shortly after, and opened the secound one, and tryed to close it, but the problem was there again, this time it was 14:40.
So I looked in the Event log agan, and this Time found tow entries with 14:40:08, with the source Audio:- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Audio" Guid="{AE4BD3BE-F36F-45B6-8D21-BDD6FB832853}" /> <EventID>11</EventID> <Version>0</Version> <Level>4</Level> <Task>0</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x4000000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2012-02-28T13:40:08.799121800Z" /> <EventRecordID>27335</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="156" ThreadID="1764" /> <Channel>Microsoft-Windows-Audio/Operational</Channel> <Computer>LT14</Computer> <Security UserID="S-1-5-19" /> </System> - <EventData> <Data Name="dwAudioSrvStreamFlags">2349137922</Data> </EventData> </Event>
Only different line in the secound entry:
<TimeCreated SystemTime="2012-02-28T13:40:08.967115000Z" />
But I think these where just the sounds played by Outlook, that I recived the Mails.
Did I miss something?
Or missunderstand something?Tuesday, February 28, 2012 1:49 PM
