[Windows 10, Resource Hub Proxy]: High Speed UART not recieving more than 64 bytes RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been trying to access the High-Speed UART interface of an Intel E3845 based platform using Resource Hub Proxy.

I have a Controller driver from Intel that makes the "UART Controller" node show up in the device manager.
However, when trying to communicate on this port, I'm not able to receive more than 64 bytes of data at a time.

I've have tried multiple baud rates and transfer speeds, and I see the data getting transmitted on an Oscilloscope. As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be any flow control or DMA interaction going on. However, any data past the 64 byte mark just gets dropped.

I'm successfully using Resource Hub Proxy for I2C without any issues, and the HS-UART Port works fine with Linux and Windows 7, so it's not a hardware issue.

I'd really appreciate any pointers or suggestions. I'll be happy to provide any details necessary.

    Thanks & Regards,
