Select all Available Fields in Visual Studio 2010 Report Wizard RRS feed

  • Question

  • In the Visual Studio 2010 Report Wizard (particularly the Arrange Fields dialog box) is there any way to select ALL of the fields in the "Available Fields" box and move them into one of the groups fields (Column or Row)? If I were using a dataset with 1000 fields (which I might one day), I'd need a more efficient way to move them to the right group than dragging them one by one. Especially considering the fact that if a database changes, that changes the corresponding dataset that feeds the report; so again, I need a better way to put all these fields into the Row/Column group in the Report Wizard everytime my database changes significantly.

In Visual Studio 2008 you can select all the fields by selecting the first field, holding down the Shift button and then selecting the last field. So what is the comparable way of doing this in Visual Studio 2010?

I've googled around for a possible solution to this, as well as searched the MSDN forums, with no luck so far.

Thank you in advance for your assistance on this.
