Diagnostic Tools stopped working RRS feed

  • Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 (15.5.2).
    Did some debugging and pushed the Snapshot button in the Diagnostic Tools windwow, aterwards this tool never worked, it just shows "Starting Diagnostic Tools..."

    What to do?
    (I really need it)

    I create a Console Application, and debug it, it works fine with Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 v15.5.2 in my side.

    What kind of application you were debug in your side?

    I think this is not a bug and we could not report it.

    Don't know what caused your problem, but glad you solved the problem by restarting the development machine. There are many benefits to restarting your computer, may be memory aspect of the improvement after reboot that fixed your problem.

  • Reboot development machine fixed it.
