Pre-compilation code formatting RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

I want to kick in some custom code formatting before the c# compiler. How can I do this? Could some one give an example or point me to a "good" resource?

  • How are you building the application? If you're MSBuild (with or without Visual Studio) or some other build engine you can control pretty much whatever you want to happen before and after compilation, just modify the build scripts as needed.

  • This question is not a CLR question. You will get a better answer in the correct forum. VS provides pre-build events that I think you can use.
