  • Hello dangarr,

The error, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred.

Look at the following link for more information:

Where you having any hardware issues with this system previously?

  • My pc has not had a operating system on it in a few months due to my windows vista install disc becoming corrupted. all i wish is to have some sort of OS on my computer, i tried looking on microsoft's website for a vista download but i could not find one. My hard drive is freshly formatted and has no data on it, other than this I can not think of what could be causing the problem :(

  • You may have a hardware issue that is preventing you from installing an operating system.

How did you create the install disk for Windows Developer Preview?

First, I would see if you have a corrupted download. This error may be caused by a bad burn of the .ISO. Try re-downloading and re-burning the .ISO file. Also, it may help to burn using a lower speed if the software you are using to burn the .ISO supports that function.

On Windows 7, the easiest way to convert this file is to use
    Windows Disc Image Burner
