Position of new rows added to a datatable RRS feed

  • Question

I have a simple datatable (which holds information about validation errors) and I am adding rows to it as I perform various validation tests. I am expecting the rows to be added to the end of the table.

The program has been running for a week as expected.

But today the Access table populated from the datatable starts halfway through the tests. The data for the first half of the tests then appears after the last row from the second half.

It seems that at a certain stage the 'insertion point' for new rows changed from the end of the table to the start, then subsequent rows were inserted in the correct order after this new first row.

Do I need to use the InsertAt method to ensure new rows are always inserted at the end, or have I done something daft to cause this behaviour?

  • Hi Vernon

Can you provide more information about the structure of your table? or tables? and how are you adding the new rows?

I've tried adding a pretty huge number of rows and were added correctly at the end of the table.

    Best Regards
