downloading a shared data source

Question

Hi we run std 2008 R2.  I see how to download an rdl from RM but not the data source.  Can someone help?

What do you want to "download" here, a (shared) data source is only a connection string + impersonation information.

Hi db042190,

In Reporting Services, the shared data source is a set of data source connection properties, it does not contain query information used to retrieve data. Besides, it’s not supported to download the shared data source from report manager.
