DNS in Azure AD RRS feed

  • Question

  • Good day

We need to get one of our servers to fetch user information from our Azure AD account via LDAPS.

I have created a Domain Service, enabled LDAP, secured LDAP with SSL cert, created DNS entry and added Firewall rules.

Now in the DNS entry I have added the hostname ldaps.netorg625205.onmicrosoft.com but this does not get resolved. Can I use the onmicrosoft.com domain for this or should I create a custom domain?

ldaps.netorg625205.onmicrosoft.com does not get resolved from any of our servers.

    Thanks,

    Antonie

  • When creating AAD Domain Services, you would have specified a domain name? You need to use that.

  • Hello,

You will need to use the custom domain name you created as part of the AAD DS managed domain.

    Hope that helps,
