Site Analysis Finds No Links RRS feed

    When I run a site analysis report on my external website, it comes back as having no links.  The html for the first page is properly read but then it just stops.  When I look at the details for the page, it says that no links were found.  I have tried all sorts of different settings combinations, running the site local, but nothing seems to allow it to see any links.

    To further complicate matters, I tried running it against google.com and a few other websites and it found the links just fine.  So, it seems that something is wrong with my website!  For the life of me, I cannot figure out what it could be though!

    Could somebody please run a report on my website and give me any feedback on what might be preventing this tool from seeing the links on my page?

    The website is: http://www.SynergeTechSolutions.com/.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    I solved the issue and thought I would share my solution here in case anyone else runs across the same thing.  I noticed that my pages were being served with a Content Type of xhtml/application-xml.  After adding the following two lines of code to my ASP.Net Master Page's Init method, the SEO Toolkit was able to see links on my site:

    this.Response.ContentType = "text/html";

    this.Response.ContentEncoding = Encoding.UTF8;

    I came across this fix by random trial and error.  Maybe someone has some insight on why this might be and what impact this change might have on my website?

    Currently we determine how to parse the content based on the content type, and we should indeed check for XHTML content type which we are not doing and that is a bug we will release in a few weeks.

    however the recommended content type is 'application/xhtml+xml' and we will be adding this:

    We have released a refresh version of the IIS SEO Toolkit that includes the fix for this problem, so please install the latest version and you should stop seeing this problem.
