Windows Server 2003 Updates on VM RRS feed

Answers

  • This page says it is an ISO file for the full SP 2 update:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6905

So I am thinking this will be able to accomplish its work without an internet connection.

  • I had someone else download the image file on their machine after three attempts on mine ended in failure.  This time their download was about 100 megs bigger than mine.  This image files was able to be burned onto disk.  It was able to be installed on the VM.

  • This file which was retrieve from the Microsoft page w2k3sp2_3959_usa_x64fre_spcd.iso returns the following message in the Windows Disc Image Burner.

"The selected disc image isn't valid."
