Can not add WEB reference RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I suddenly got this error:

    Never before seen this error? Used to worked with no troubles...WEB service I try to add for the Script Component within an SSIS project.

    Please, what to do?

    And, a propos this, I can not longer connect to: http://localhost/reports?

    suddenly, after 1.5 days straggling, it started to work...Why it stopped, why it came back, I really do not know. We, which means not only me, were checking many different issues on different forums like., e.g., possibility that Script Component code was redirected towards .Net 4.0 (has to be .Net 2.0) etc...but in our case there was something  else wrong which we did not discover....At least, it works currently...

    Just like answer on your question, nether of bellow links was approachable i.e.,

    neither http://localhostName/ReportrServer/ReportExecution2005 nor this: http://localhostName/Reports

    but, at the same time, Report Builder 3.0 was working as it used to be.....

    Thanks for answer, will have to close this thread because "major force"....

  • Then this is not a SSIS issue, check if the service is running

  • Check if you can reach the webservice in a browser (or try to add the same webservice in a simple .net console application).
