We have created a report, using embedded Crystal Reports in VS2010, that we are now trying to print without using the viewer. The report name is "FileFolderLabels.rpt". Everything works fine when we export this report to a PDF. When we try to print the report using PrintToPrinter, we receive the following error:

    Failed to open the connection.
    FileFolderLabels {D746CE15-94A6-4745-8E5E-00828B509879}.rpt

Has anyone seen this before and does anyone know how to fix it? Where is that GUID coming from in the file name? Help!

We are using the most recent release of Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010.

It looks like the issue with your connection string.

Just before you try to print the PDF report, would you be able to just generate the report?
