Why was WPF for WinRT thread moved to CLR Internals????

    Question

  • Yesterday, montegava posted a thread in this forum entitled "WPF for WinRT" requesting advice regarding 3D transformations in XAML and porting apps from WPF to WinRT.

Min Zhu has moved that thread over to here in the "Common Language Runtime and .NET Internals" forum.

I would like to know why. The topic has nothing to do with the CLR or .Net Internals.

  • I have added an answer as well and asked the moderator to move the thread to: Building Windows Store apps with C++

Thanks for pointing this out Rebecca!

  • Well, yes, that was rather the point of starting this thread...

  • Rebecca,

Could you re-link to the post?  The above link is no longer valid.  Or did we move the thread back?

    Best Wishes - Eric

  • Thanks, Eric.

(It amazes me this kind of thing doesn't happen more often, with all the threads y'all handle!)

  • err..., that was a mistake. I was trying to move it to Building Windows Store apps with C# or VB, as I mentioned in the comments.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.
