How can I add TemperatureMeasurement in HV for a specific person object? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am facing a problem to add TemperatureMeasurement object data in HV. I can add all the object which are inherited by the HealthRecordItem. But the TemperatureMeasurement is inherited by the Measurement`1<MeasurementType> Class.

My goal is to add Temperature value in HV. So I am also confuesd that this is the correct class or not.

If any one knows about it feel free to help me.

  • You cannot add TemperatureMesurement object directly to a record. This is not a HealthVault thing type..

TemperatureMesurement is a class currently used alongside AerobicSession and probably is not something you wanted to do.

In your case, you need to use VitalSigns object which is a valid thing type and the SDK class is hence  derived from HealthRecordItem.

You can store multiple VitalSignsResultsType instances in this object. In your case you need to store one instance of VitalSignsResultsType in the VitalSigns class for which the codeable value is set to Temperature. You can then store the temperature in Celsius (not in F).

If you want to look the the structure of the VitalSigns object (more visually than going thru SDK docs), you can use the Xray tool VitalSign Create page.
