  • Hi all, 

    I have collected few interview questions, which i came across in recent days. KIndly reply if you know the answers:

    1.Why typed polling is used? Whats the difference of the polling.

    2. How to configure SFTP adapter in biz talk

    3.REST services in BizTalk and how it is used?

    4. What is the difference between Disassemble and Execute in the pipeline components ?

    5. If 10,000 suspended messages are there and SQL server was unnoticed outage. What will you do?

    6. 1GB file is coming from FTP . How do you handle it. (Debatch)

    7. Debatching can be done in what all artifacts of Biztalk?

    8. Difference between 2010 - 2013, 2013-2013R2 and 2013 -2016 Biztalk? 

    9. How and where streams are used in BizTalk?

    10. Based on the use cases, how to do design the architecture for a particular project? What all steps you take?

    11. Can xslt be deployed and used without a map?

    12. How to create a custom functoid and what class or dll to be added to perform this?

    13. If an instance is active for 2-3 days, what all will happen in BizTalk and how to fix it?

    14. If an instance is dehydrated for 2 days, what step to take to fix it?

    15. If the message box is down, how to fix and how to prevent this to happen. What advice you give to Client.

    16. Message box is full. how to resolve it.

    17.  Azure logic apps and biztalk differences and will logic apps take over BizTalk in near future?

    18. How "always on" feature is used in SQL server and how to relate it with BizTalk?

    Kindly add on few more interview questions if you find any?

    This seems to be a mix of developer and administrator questions.  Some places you'll have to do both, but in most places you will only do one or the other.  IMHO, you'll want to understand the differences between the two roles before your interview.  BizTalk is a pretty big subject to try to learn everything about development and administration.  There are a few good BizTalk administration sites (www.biztalkadmin.com is my favorite) out there that may be able to help with the administration side.

    You can do a Bing search to find multiple concept and answers available for your question . These are pretty basic interview questions for BizTalk Developers.

    They randomly asked questions on biztalk. Main requirement was on azure and biztalk developer.
