Adding menu items to category on Site Settings page?

Question

Hi all -

Just getting off the ground with SP code customization, and I have successfully added a menu item to the Site Actions menu.  Now, I want to take it a step further and add a new menu item to one of the categories on the Site Settings page. 

Could someone describe the general procedure, if I'm hoping to do this in code?  For example, in the first problem, I was able to edit a menu just by adding a new Elements.xml file, GroupId="SiteActions" Location=""Microsoft.SharePoint.StandardMenu" etc.  I'm not really the nature of the programming task to do what I want to do.

Very similar to what you've already done.  Its a customAction feature with the location set to Microsoft.SharePoint.SiteSettings and the appropriate GroupID for the section you want to add it to.  For example to add it to Look And Fell section use the GroupID of "Customization".  Here's a website with the whole list of location and groupIDs for common custom action locations.
