Lost MSDN Subscriber ID Card RRS feed

  • Question

  • I no longer have my MSDN Subscriber ID card and I need my ID number in order to renew my MSDN Magazine subscription.  Is there a way for me to find out what it is?  It doesn't seem to be in my Windows Live profile, or under "Manage My Subscription", or even the eopen.microsoft.com license details for the subscription (where I first activated it).  I haven't been able to find a link to have it sent to me (although, interestingly, I can get my password).

It seems that even without my subscriber ID, I can access all of my subscription benefits except for MSDN Magazine.

    Thank you,

  • Hi!

It depends which region you have your subscription.

For MSDN Retail Subscription Customers in the US and Canada:
    https://microsoft.na.subservices.com/msdn/RequestSubscriberID.aspx

For MSDN Retail Subscription Customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa:
    https://microsoft.eu.subservices.com/msdn/RequestSubscriberID.aspx

  • I'm in Australia, and I have the same problem. How do you access your subscriber ID to renew volume licenses?

The sites listed to retrieve the subscriber ID are not for Australia. I have tried looking for the Australian version, but cannot find it.

I can look in, and view that the subscription to the volume license has expired, but there is no way to renew it.

  • Hi damo,

Please contact the MSDN Customer Service Center closest to you.  You can find the contact information for the center closest to you here:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/aa948875.aspx.  The number for Australia is: 13 20 58.  Make sure you mention your needs to address your Volume License subscription as you will be redirected to a Volume License expert.

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Fugio, the last response on this thread before yours was 3 years ago.  What information are you asking for?  If you need assistance with an MSDN Subscription, the link I shared back in 2009 is still the right one: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/aa948875.aspx

    Thanks,
    Mike
