How to access the mail box collection present in the Exchange 2010 server RRS feed

  • Question

  • How to access the mail box collection present in the Exchange 2010 server? Earlier in the 2007 there was a interface named "WebDAV" and i understand this has been deprecated in Exchange 2010. So using EWS (Exchange Web Service), how do i iterate through the mail boxes? It is assumed that i would be using valid exchange administrator credentials. Please help!

  • If you've got Exchange Admin credentials, use the EMS cmdlets to get a list of the primary smtp addresses of the mailboxes. That's the identity parameter you'll need for accessing them via EWS. Write your EWS script to access one mailbox, then wrap that in a foreach loop, using the list of primary smtp addresses.
