Help to get SSRS back in the BI of the VS 2017 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I got VS 2017 recently reinstalled. I can't get my SSRS service back in BI of the VS 2017.

I installed VSIX Update 1.16, MS RDLS Version 14.2, also SSDT for VS 2015 as well.

After each installed and did restart.

SSRS is still not shown in VS 2017 Templet under BI of VS 2017.

    What I missing?

    Thanks!

  • I'm not sure what you're expecting to see.  There are two options in that category:  Report Server Project Wizard and Report Server Project.  Either will create a new SSRS report project.

  • Hi Daphne1212,

Please re-start visual studio 2017 and check if it works, I install the package, it works well.

In addition, my visual studio 2017 version is 15.2

    Best regards,

  • Is this what you're looking for:

Install that and you can create and open .rptproj files.
