Unable to generate reports using PowerPivot Linked Data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

Generally I upload my Excel data model file to SharePoint & generate new reports using that shared data model file as PowerPivot Linked Data source as show below.

this works fine for me. but now my Data model file size is going above 100 MB & suddenly I am unable to create new reports using shared model. when I try to create new report I am getting following error

    Any solution on this?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi All,

    I got the answer!

we can set file size limit while uploading to SharePoint. For that

-> Open SharePoint-2013 Central Administrator -> Manage Service Applications -> Excel service Applications

Select -> Trusted File Locations -> select Microsoft SharePoint Foundation

There you set number of parameters. our concern is with Maximum Workbook Size

we can set it up to 2GB (200MB).

    It worked for me. :)
