TCP Connections RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was wondering if some could shed some light on my situation. Ok, here is where I am lost.
When I create a TCPClient instance and connect to a certain server, right away it will send me a response. I am supposed to decode this response and send back my response in a certain format. If it is not formatted correctly or if I am missing something, it will send back an error ( \error\\err\1\fatal\\errmsg\There was a missing backslash parsing an incoming request.\final\ ). This isnt where I am lost, because I already know how to format my response properly. I am just wondering, when I type in the server address in a web browser, it receives the response from the server and also the error. I am assuming because it sent something back to the server. I am just wondering if it is possible to communicate with the server through HTML.
