Finding Devices on a bridged connection RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello! Quick question regarding a Windows 10 Network Bridge.

I have successfully bridged my internet connection to my WLAN, as follows:

Verizon Internet ~~~>  Wireless Network Adapter ----> Host Computer Bridge ----> LAN Adapter ----> Wireless Router ~~~~> WLAN

Where ----> is a wired connection, and ~~~~> is a wireless connection.

All computers on the WLAN have internet connections (great!) and can also print to the wireless printer which is also connected to the WLAN (swell!).  In addition, the host computer has internet access too!

The only problem is the that the host computer cannot print!  In fact, it seems like the host computer cannot access the WLAN at all.  Is there a solution to this?  Is it even possible?  Given this setup, would internet connection sharing be a better option?

Host Computer: Dell Inspiron, Windows 10 Home, Version 1709

Internet Connection: Verizon Jetpack MIFI 7730L

Host Computer Wireless Adapter: Rosewill RNX-AC13000PCE

Host Computer LAN Adapter: Rosewill RC-411v3 Gigabit PCIe LAN Card

Wireless Router: Netgear R6080 AC1000 Dual Band WiFi Router

All equipment seems to be functioning correctly.  I'm not an expert at all, but am comfortable monkeying with settings if I have instructions.  Thanks!
