adding a blank page

I want to add a blank page to my app in VS2013, but i am not able to.. the blank page option is not in the list.

i am working on a WP 8 app..

Have you checked if “Portrait Page”, for example, is a kind of blank page?

Can you please tell me a guide which would tell me how to insert exetended splash screen in Wp apps.

i am using the following link..but the splash screen gets stucked.. it does not navigate back to mainpage..

I would recommend you reopen a new case on WP forum. Visual Stduio General forum is not the right forum for this kind of issue.
