file handling in C#. RRS feed

Answers

  • the file handling in C# is no different than the file handling in the windows operating system.  Most of the functions in the Net Library which C# uses functions in windows in the windows operating system.  The windows operating system uses dll libraries to perform file handling and the Net Library uses the same dll.

The net libaries had methods which open files and then uses streams to read and write to the files.  The streams can be pipe as to standard input and output or can be directed to extern I/O like ethernet.
