Use MFT for Augumented Reality Related Windows 8 Store App RRS feed

    My current understanding is MFT can be used to process each frame be captured from camera then add some effect then playback. But in my application, I need a background image processing engine to analysis each frame then report result to Metro App in realtime (like object location, motion direction...)

    I'm not sure if MFT can handle this, or there is any other method right fit for this, any direction is appreciated

    Welcome to MSDN forum!

    An MFT is designed to be a reliable state machine. It does not make any calls back to the client. So it won't give you any result before it complete input data.

    I can't find any method that is fit for this.
