Skipping the Windows Developer Preview Log-On Screen? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

Personally, I don't usually store any incredibly private information on the netbook I've installed the Windows Developer Preview on. As such, I don't really require my account to be password protected (albeit connected to my Windows Live account). It adds an extra step to launching the Windows Developer Preview.

I've checked the User Accounts section of the Control Panel, and I can't seem to be able to remove password protection. Isn't there a way to have my Windows Live password stored and possibly auto-logged-on thus skipping the Log-On screen, or can I just remove password protection? Because, I mean, it's not like I need an active internet connection to log-on to my account or anything.
