    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

  • Hi BPSK_,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

    Just-In-Time debugging can launch Visual Studio automatically when an app running outside Visual Studio errors or crashes. For more information, please check this doc: Debug using the Just-In-Time Debugger in Visual Studio

    >>System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
       at xxxxxx_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\visual studio\C#\user name\user name\user name\Form\xxx_xxx.cs:line 144

    According to the error message, it seems this error relates to the above Windows Forms application. Did you set it automatic launch when you start Windows (Task Manager-Startup)?

    If click the Continue button on the JIT popup, we can try to locate the root reason of this NullReferenceException.

    If this Windows Forms application works fine and we can also try to disable Just-In-Time debugging in Visual Studio.

    Best regards,

    Sara
