Enable Columns in Protected Word Document RRS feed

    What do you mean of enable column? We usually protect a Word document using restricting editing. Please check the workthrough below for more information :

    Restrict Editing To Secure Word 2010 Document

    You can allow some particular action, something like your description, from restricting.


    In addition, if you want to do this automatically (either via VBA code or VSTO solution), you can firstly record a macro to see how these actions perform in VBA code.
