Place the controls inside an AJAX update panel and make sure that they have the runat="server" attribute in the declaration line. From there, any dynamic values are simply declared like this <%# eval("yourdbval") %> for example. Other times, you may need to set the value in your code behind page for example the HTML Editor's default value.

Hi Topolov, you first replce the ScriptManager on the Site.master with the AJAX Script manager then your controls should work have a look at the DateTime range in the sample filters in Five Cool Filters for Dynamic Data 4

Like a favor: Could you please enlighten me a little with a very basic example?

I know that there are videos on Ajax Toolkit on the official web site but none of them regarding Dynamic Data
