How to disconnect from a Bluetooth LE device with windows 8.1? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

it seems I've the same question as somebody before.

How to disconnect to bluetooth low energy device from windows 8.1

I think there is no answer. The problem is not to monitor or (re-)connect or bond a device, it's just to disconnect from a device. I can't find any functionallity to do this. Not within the Bluetooth user interface and not in the Windows.Devices.Bluetooth.GenericAttributeProfile API. Also Windows.Devices.Bluetooth.GenericAttributeProfile.GattDeviceService.Dispose() will not disconnect from the device. Even if I kill and deinstall the the Windows App the connection persists.

    Any solution?

Has somebody ever seen a connection going back to its unconnected state, while both peer devices are powered, and the server device is not the initiator of disconnecting?

I move this case to Building Windows Store apps with C# or VB forum for better response.
