About Hardware Certification from the New DEV CENTER Dashboard RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have the drivers of UNI and XPS certified by sysdev in two years ago. Now, I modified the UNI driver and I submit drivers UNI and XPS for hardware certification from the new DEV CENTER dashboard. The OS is scheduled to be certified with multiple OS of Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1, Win 10, and as same as two years ago I got the test and log file as below.

    · Full test of Certification of Win 7 and Win 8.1 by HCK, and only INF test of Win 8
    · Win10 tests INF test only by HLK

I packaged them, our drivers with HLK and readme and then signed it by EV, applied it. However, it was rejected and got the following log.
”Fail, please provide errata id for not run test case.”

I am not an engineer and I do not have anyone around me acquiring logo certification. I do not understand the words CSS and errata id, so when referring to the following URLs, the listed URLs were help and sysdev out of link.
Even on the new DEV CENTER dashboard, I can not find a place to get errata list.

    1. Is it impossible to submit for hardware after full test with some OS using HCK or HLK and doing INF test (I mean First-Track program) on some OSes?
    2. Please let me know if you have the latest information about CSS and errata.

    Please help me..

  • Hello,

Submitting may have changed in two years, one thing for certain is all tests that have a failed result or were not run have to have an explanation (waiver - errata) of why the result is the way it is. This information is captured in a readme file which is provided in the supplemental folder of the HLK package that is submitted to HDC.

2+ years ago there was an errata that allowed only the inf test to be ran and all the others results to be not run. I don't recall the ID but this site may be helpful in searching for the errata.
