Who has an idea? How to manage a PC using a smartphone and bluetooth? RRS feed

Who has an idea how to manage a computer using a smartphone and bluetooth?
For example, how to draw on the Graphics Window, changing the tilt of the smartphone?

I especially want to say that it's very interesting for me to learn how to write my own programs using the Small Basic for the computer and the RFO BASIC! for Android. Maybe someone has an idea for an interesting program?

    Thanks to everyone.

  • I'm not sure where this kind of question would go, but it's not about Small Basic. I'll change it to a discussion.

    Thanks AB!

  • I think Small Basic doesn't have extensions that have the Bluetooth interface.  But micro:bit has it.  Small Basic can communicate with micro:bit via LDCommPort object in LitDev Extension.

  • I've found that EV3 Basic (a Small Basic extension for LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3) has Bluetooth interface.

Dear Nonki, what can you say about LDBlueTooth class?
Is it a class for working with bluetooth?

  • Hi AbsoluteBeginner, may be that's right.  But now I don't have an Android device...

I can try to connect SB to micro:bit via Bluetooth with LDBlueTooth object.

  • Another idea (not using bluetooth):  I'm not sure that RFO BASIC has serial functions, but if so, Small Basic program can communicate via serial port using Litdev Extension.  You can check programs using serial port and communicate with other devices such as micro:bit and Arduino and so on.
