Firewall Warning

Question
-
I am getting a warning with SQL Server when trying to create a SQL failover cluster. I've opened ports 1433 and 4022 via Group Policy, however, I am still receiving the error. Is there another port that needs to be open in order for this warning to go away?

That is a warning because you have "Windows Firewall" enabled, not that it isn't configure it correctly. There is nothing wrong. Continue with the installation.

Hi,
Dont open any port if you do not need to connect the server from remote machine!
This message is a default message and if you work only locally (for example IIS is install on the same machine as the SQL Server and you use the server only for IIS Web's site) then you should not open any port :-)

The port will need to be open as the only thing on this box is SQL.

It's not an error message, it's a warning message.
Rule "Windows Firewall" generated a warning.
The Windows Firewall is enabled. Make sure the appropriate ports are open to enable remote access. See the rules documentation at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=94001 for information about ports to open for each feature.
I opened port 1433 and 4022 based on the link above, however, I am still getting the warning.
