  • I started Programming in 1965.   Active upto 2012 in C++ and every Mainframe and Client Server Language up to .Net.

    What would be the best approach to pick up .net.  I need the User Interface and Compile.  Which is all I ever needed to pick up a programming Lanquages.  Taught VB6, VBA, Cobol, Assembler.  Interested in using MSCOMM to create display of all traffic in Lay Term Screens for Device Owner.

  • Brings back memories.  Teletype tape, punch cards, IBM 1401, PDP8, TI-980B, Assembler, Fortran, Pascal and adding and subtracting in octal and hex in your head as fast as decimal.

    I would suggest posting in a C# .NET forum.
