How to get info if Lync Server is not available RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey There..

We have implemented LYNC API into our own application, and all work fine. We are now trying to catch errors that happens in the login process.

If login is not possible, example if the server is not available or do not answer, how to get a event for this?

If our server is not available our state is "Signing in", and nothing happens then. Is there a event we can listen on that says "time out",  "no server respons" or something if it's not possible to contact the server?

    Best Regards

  • Hi Karl,

You can subscribe to LyncClient.StateChanged event and check ClientStateChangedEventArgs.NewState property
