  • Question

  • Hi

I want to export/extract data from SSRS report to excel file automatically from third party website without any manual user interaction. I don't have database access to export SSRS report directly in excel file by writing code.

I tried below mentioned approach but it does not works. Please guide me how to handle this problem?

    1. I tried passing SENDKEY in webpage to click export button automatically but it works faster before SSRS report generated/loaded in webpage. And I don't how to write code to check exported work download status is "in-progress" or "completed". And how to identify default download folder path in each user machine.

    2. I tried below approach but I did n't know what is  "reportserver?" and how to pass database authentication to access report in below URL.

    http://<Report Server Name>/reportserver?/Sales/YearlySalesSummary&rs:Format=Excel&rs:Command=Render

  • What is the exact site that you want to import form?

    I tried the following:

    http://<Report Server Name>/reportserver?/Sales/YearlySalesSummary&rs:Format=Excel&rs:Command=Render

That didn't work for me, at all.
